Happy Independance Day!

Hello! HappyIndependanceDay!!
I have some fun and super easy rakhi cards for you to try today! Rakshabandhan, the festival of sibling love is coming up soon and I thought it would be fun to incorporate our national colours with this festive ocassion.
For the first card, I used the 'Lace reloaded ' stencil from Craftangles along with Tim Holtz 'Carved pumpkin' and 'Mowed Lawn' distress inks to create a pretty background.  I made a rakhi using an evil eye charm  and some white cord, and placed it in the centre of the background card panel.  I then adhered this panel to the white card base.  I adhered it to the inside card, using a bit of washi tape. I stamped the sentiments..a combination of sentiments from Flora and Fauna stamps,  Winnie and Walter stamps and Craftangles Stamps (Happy Rakhshabandhan) to complete the card. Super quick.
