It's Shabneez here with a couple of makes for Baby Girls using the CrafTangles Baby Girl Paper Pad.
Now, I'll let you into a secret, I absolutely love creating with paper. This baby girl paper pad was an absolute joy to craft with as I didn't need to add much else, just basics we all have in our craft cupboards!
For my first project I decided to make a shaker easel card out of a 6x6 card blank. I cut out a really cute picture from one of the papers and made a frame from green glitter card using square dies. I filled the shaker with two types of sequins, ivory hearts and cupcake pink. Once I'd made the shaker topper, I covered the base card with more papers and fussy cut a sentiment banner from another of the papers.
One of the papers had these cute circles on so I cut them out and added glossy accents to give them an enamel look. I used them as stoppers for the easel mechanism!
For my second make, I decided on a rocker card, which is a circle folded in half for the base. I used a die to make the base out of contrasting card. It was actually really easy to co-ordinate with this pad as all the colours within the pad went so well. I matted the base with paper from the pad and cut another image from the pad with a scallop die to make the topper. I punched and scored hearts to give dimension and added paper roses and pearls to embellish.
Finally, for the sentiment, I stuck some glitter alphabet stickers on to punched hearts, attached them to each other and added acetate to give the illusion of the letters floating in the air.
I hope you've enjoyed looking at my projects and I look forward to reading your comments.
See you again soon!
