DIY Traveler's notebook signature mini album

I finally learned how to make a book signature in the style of a traveler's notebook.  I took the standard measurements of a Midori Traveler's Notebook and cut my 12x12 scrapbook paper by CrafTangles to size.  Then, I cut the cover in half to allow for a wider spine.  I laminated the cover leaving about half an inch between to the two pieces that I cut.  The interior pages were made by measuring and just folding them in half.  I made a cardboard template to evenly space my holes.  I explain how to make and use the cardboard template in this video:

This traveler's notebook is a gift for a 7 year old girl and her mom.  They have been living at the hospital for almost 2 months now since she has multiple brain tumors.  I left a lot of room for her friends to add photos and messages to her that she can flip through while laying in bed or feeling lonely.  I also wanted to add a lot of texture for her hands to feel and shiny elements that would be fun for a young girl who loves Paris.  Her best friend is learning French, so she also loves the idea of Paris and the color pink.
