Happily Ever After Stamp 3 Ways

Happy Thursday!

I've been excited about using the CrafTangles Happily Ever After stamp set since I got it and so I decided to show how you can give it a totally different look by using a variety of mediums.  I think the key is not to be afraid but to have a go!

I'm going to start with my favourite card of the three.  It was an idea I had in my head and for a change I was able to execute it as I imagined it.

I stamped the image with a sepia ink as I thought it would give it a sofer look and I then let the pens do the colouring for me!  I used a single Chameleon pen and Colour top for the flowers and another pen for the stem and leaves.  I stamped the sentiment from the same set and added some pink card to finish.

Next up I used the CrafTangles liquid water colours that I've seen my fellow DT members use a lot.  I absolutely loved them and they made it so easy to colour in the flower, giving it depth.

I really enjoyed using the water colours, making sure that I used water colour cardstock.  It makes the world of difference.  I gave it a light blue wash with the water colours for the background.  I didn't think this card needed much more and so I just used a frame die cut.

For my final card I decided to use kraft card and heat embossed the image in white.

I then coloured in the image with Chameleon Pencils and added a sentiment from the same set.

So there you have it - one stamp, three ways!  I hope you've been inspired to try alcohol pens, coloured pencils and liquid water colours if you haven't already.

See you again soon!
