Hello Crafty peeps,

I am SathyaKala here today from Paperie Expressions. Many Thanks to Khyati and Team for this awesome opportunity and the GDT Kit. I thoroughly enjoyed making a Mixed Media canvas for you today using the lovely products. Hope you like as much as I love making it!

Let’s start!

Procedure for the Mixed Media Canvas:
·       Took 8x10” canvas and prepped it with white gesso.
·       Applied water diagonally over the canvas and added the Craftangles artSprays : Electric pink, Victorian pink and carbon black at intervals after the layers are dried completely.
·       Then applied Craftangles: PaperTexture paste through a stencil over the misted areas.
·       Once completely dried, took Craftangles : Old Newspaper stampset and using light grey ink, stamped around the textured areas to create further visual interest.
·       Splattered diluted inks over the desired surface.

·       Few florals are picked from Designer papers and fussy cut it.
·       Floral bouquet as chosen focal point were then matted with designer paper and border chipboard.
·       Its then arranged on to the canvas with fussy cut florals, florals, tinted cheesecloth and various other embellishments.
·       Cardstock is misted with Victorian pink art spray and diecut using Leaf dies, and then added to the collage.
·       Sentiment stamped onto a tissue paper and stuck carefully onto the canvas using Gel medium.
·       Quote sticker is matted to a kraft cs and added near to the floral spray.
·       Few more stamping done using black archival ink around the floral clusters.
·       Liberally white gesso and art sprays are splattered finally.
·       Few pink enamel dots are added as final touches.

 That’s it from me.
Hope you like the project.
Thanks for looking into!
Happy Crafting!
